A good blog promotes goodwill to all of its viewers. The user risks his/her own privacy in order to make his/her thoughts heard, but to a certain extent. Responsible posting through sensible ideas without the promotion of hate is one thing.
Stand up and be counted! For responsible blogging!
...one that could be a way to express one's innermost thoughts of bliss, happiness, depression, sorrow, and euphoric states rolled into one with no superficialities whatsoever.
for me, a good blog doesn't neccessarily have to be profound. it doesn't neccesarily have to talk about current events or pressing issues in society, although those topics are interesting in their own rights.
a good blog can talk about simple things. things as simple as what you ate this morning.
the important thing is that the 'blogger' understands that one's entry is no longer for his/her eyes only. it can be read by millions or even billions of people around the world. and thus, the blogger should exercise a stricter sense of responsibility when posting an entry.
a good blog is one that stays true to the purpose of the blogger. as long as the blogger can accurately depict his thoughts through words that are comprehensible by the reader, then i think it is a good blog. a better blog i think is one that would encourage the reader to ask more questions and stimulate thinking, however shallow or deep the topic may be :D
i write in my blog to release what i feel for the day. it's like my instant friend whom i can talk to anytime of the day. but since i know that this will be for public viewing, i still have to be careful with what i write so as not to offend anybody.
i believe that whatever's brought up to the public should be for the public good. i think having a blog is a good way for people to express themselves, but then again, bloggers should be responsible enough to know the limitations of blogging.
