• Respects the dignity of human beings
• Sensitive to the feelings of others
• Compassionate for those who may be affected adversely by blog content
• Recognizes that getting and reporting information may cause harm and discomfort
• Respects other people’s right to privacy
• Shows good taste

3. ACCOUNTABLE

• Admits mistakes and corrects them promptly
• Explains blog’s mission and invite dialogue with the public over its content and the blogger’s conduct
• Discloses conflicts of interest, affiliations, activities, and personal agendas
• Exposes unethical practices of other bloggers
• Abides by the same high standards (ethical standards) to which they hold others.
